Give your coffee a second life

Every day, thousands of coffees are served.
And with them come kilos of coffee grounds that would normally be discarded.

At PONTO., we decided to do things differently.

Discover how

Why reuse coffee grounds?

Coffee grounds are rich in essential nutrients such as nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus, which are important for plant growth.

  • Improve soil quality
  • Increase water retention
  • Release nutrients gradually

How to use coffee grounds in your plants?

Mix into the soil
Add a small amount to the plant soil and mix lightly.

Spread on the surface
Place a thin layer around the plant (without overdoing it).

Add to compost
If you compost, coffee grounds are an excellent addition.

Tip: Use in moderation. Small amounts make all the difference.

Which plants are ideal?

Although they can be used with most plants, as long as applied in balance, coffee grounds work especially well with plants that prefer slightly acidic soils, such as:

  • Hydrangeas
  • Roses
  • Tomatoes

At PONTO., we believe that well-being is also built through simple choices, every day.

By taking your coffee grounds, you are:

  •

Reducing waste

Giving new life to a natural resource

Contributing to a more conscious cycle
