Jar of healthy granola

Christmas is on its way, and with it come dinners with family, friends, and colleagues. At a time of greater excess, take advantage of this festive season to awaken your creativity in the kitchen and create healthier and more sustainable options to offer.

Ingredients for granola

  • 2 oat flakes
  • 1 cup of mixed nuts (e.g. sliced almonds, chopped walnuts and hazelnuts)
  • 1 tablespoon of mixed seeds (sunflower or chia seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil or coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Water as needed

 

How to prepare granola

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º.
  2. Mix the oat flakes with the dried fruit and seeds.
  3. Add the olive oil (or coconut oil) and honey and mix all the ingredients together well.
  4. Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  5. Stir several times to prevent the dried fruit from burning.
  6. If necessary, sprinkle with a few drops of water.
  7. Once the granola is toasted, remove from the oven and leave to cool.

 

How to prepare the bottle

  1. Store the granola in an airtight jar to keep it crispy.
  2. Use recyclable or reusable materials to decorate the jar, such as recycled paper, natural fibre paper or leftover wrapping paper.
  3. Print our card with the QR code for easy access to the recipe and attach it to the jar using pine branches, string or leftover fabric.
