Hibiscus and honey lemonade

Ingredients for 1 jug

  • 1 litre of water
  • 1 lemon
  • 10g hibiscus
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Mint

How to prepare

  1. Wash the lemon well, cut in half and squeeze the juice into a blender. Grate the rind and set aside.

  2. In a pan, boil the hibiscus in water for about 2 minutes.

  3. In another pan, add a little boiling water with the honey and grated lemon rind. Stir well until the honey dissolves.

  4. Strain the mixture into a jug.

  5. Add the cold water and the hibiscus mixture to the jug and mix well until dissolved.

  6. Store in the fridge.

  7. Before serving, add ice and lemon slices.
