Salmon burger with watercress, tomato and yoghurt and garlic sauce on a bun

Servings: 4 people

For the burgers:

  • 400g salmon fillets
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 70g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Parsley to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Paprika to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 2 tomatoes

For the yoghurt and garlic sauce:

  • 80g natural solid yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Pepper to taste

How to prepare the burgers:

  1. Cut the salmon fillets into small cubes.

  2. In a bowl, add the salmon, beaten egg, chopped parsley, dijon mustard, lemon juice, pepper, paprika and salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth.

  3. Coat the mixture with breadcrumbs and mould into burger shapes.

  4. Add the olive oil to a frying pan and grill the burgers on both sides.

  5. To assemble the burger: Cut the burger bun in half and on the underside add the yoghurt and garlic sauce, the sliced tomato, the salmon burger and the watercress leaves. Close the burger with the other half of the bun and serve.

How to prepare the sauce:

  1. Place the yoghurt, chopped garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Mix and mix all the ingredients well.
